Features
HNSC-B series switches are used as industrial 2-wire tilt switches for single-axis monitoring. They offer an easy-to-convert replacement for Hg switches, which may no longer be used due to existing regulations. Supply voltage 9 – 30 VDC.
The standard version monitors tilt deviations of the X-axis on one side with high accuracy.
The B (double-sided) version monitors tilt deviations on both sides of the X-axis symmetrically to the zero position.
The K (tilt protection) version monitors rotationally symmetrical tilt deviations on the Z-axis.

The single-sided 2-wire tilt switch is used as a retrofit solution for Hg switches. Additionally, the switch can be used as an industrial-grade alternative to a mechanical tilt switch (e.g., ball switch, pendulum switch, reed contact).
Application examples:
- Correcting unwanted tilt angles of lifts and transport systems.
- Tilt monitoring of moving parts in machines and systems.
Possible switching angles are available in the range of 3° to 45° tilt.
The switch is suitable for DC applications.

The double-sided 2-wire tilt switch is used as a retrofit solution for Hg switches. Additionally, the switch can be used as an industrial-grade alternative to a mechanical tilt switch (e.g., ball switch, pendulum switch, reed contact).
Application examples:
- Detecting dangerous operating conditions in static and mobile applications.
- Warning indication to the user.
- Shutting down the machine or system.
Switching angles are available in the range of 3° to 45° tilt.
The switch is suitable for DC applications.

The tilt protection 2-wire tilt switch is used as a retrofit solution for Hg switches. Additionally, the switch can be used as an industrial-grade alternative to a mechanical tilt switch (e.g., ball switch, pendulum switch, reed contact).
Application examples:
- Shutting down mobile devices in critical tilt conditions.
- Monitoring moving parts in stationary systems (e.g., pendulums, level monitoring,…).
Switching angles are available in the range of 3° to 45° tilt.
The switch is suitable for DC applications.
